Job Title: Lab TechnicianJob Description
This position reports directly to the QC Supervisor and is primarily responsible for performing analytical testing, laboratory investigations, and analytical method transfers for an OTC drug manufacturing facility. This position is also responsible for any other additional tasks assigned by the QC Supervisor. Universal Accountabilities include performing raw material, in-process, and release testing using a variety of analytical techniques (UV-Vis, IR, HPLC, GC, AA, titrations, viscosity analysis, etc.) and following cGMP, USP, and 21CFR 210/211 requirements for laboratory testing and OOS investigations.
Hard Skills
Technical knowledge of chromatography and bench chemistry
Proficiency with Word and Excel
Ability to apply basic statistics and compare data trends
Experience with LIMS (a plus)
Soft Skills
Effective verbal and written communication
Interpersonal and team-building skills
Excellent organizational, problem-solving, prioritizing, and follow-up skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Ormond Beach, Florida.
Work Environment
Edgewell in Ormond Beach manufactures sunscreen/sun care products. This is an OTC environment. Lab setting with interactions with Microbiologists, QC Chemists, and other Lab Techs. GMP and FDA audits are part of the environment. Must be flexible with working some OT, possible weekends.
