The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth Palm Coast – 60 Memorial Medical Parkway Palm Coast, Florida 32164

The role you’ll contribute:

The Radiation Oncology office nurse demonstrated a cancer specific knowledge base and clinical expertise in cancer care to provide nursing care to patients receiving Radiation Therapy under the direction of the physician and/or nurse in compliance with established standards and protocols of the practice and AdventHealth goals and objectives.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

· Provides safe and effective patient care under direction of the physician and/or nurse manager.

· Performs diagnostic and therapeutic measures as prescribed by the physician and utilizing guidelines established by AdventHealth.

· Schedules patients for procedures, diagnostic testing or specialists, as directed by the physician.

· Insert IV access for radiation testing and order stat lab work, as ordered by the physician, during the patient visit.

· Preparing charts for evaluation and management visits

· Charting radiation induced toxicities

· Obtaining ICD 10

· Assist with procedures

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Minimum 2 years nursing experience

Preferred qualifications:

· Oncology nursing experience

· Oncology Certification

· Epic knowledge
