Project Engineer

Job Description:
The Project Engineer is tasked with leading submittal and RFI processes, evaluating project designs, and assisting with meetings and quality control setups. This role includes reviewing plans and technical documents, managing RFIs and project records, assisting in project scheduling, and managing inventory and procurement logs. You will coordinate subcontractor meetings, manage drawings and commissioning processes, prepare quantity take-offs, track safety and quality observations, and participate in safety audits. Additionally, the Project Engineer assists with contract document closeouts, supports final inspections, and provides submittal register updates. The role requires strong communication, customer focus, flexibility, and organizational skills and involves providing general support for the project team and performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil, or Architectural Engineering, or equivalent experience in a Construction Project Management Certification Program
OSHA 30
1 years of relevant construction experience
Prefers someone with theme park experience since they have demanding clients.
Will take a look at some with good experience in another industry and has an appetite to learn quickly.
If a candidate has projects like Google, Intel, Amazon on their resume, they would definitely consider because those clients are demanding on their specifications
Work Environment:
Fieldwork in Disney World, potentially involving hotels, restaurants, convention centers, and tenant improvement projects
