Summary You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST IN THE SUPPORT SERVICES AND PLANNING DIVISION, ADMIN SERVICES BRANCH OF NAV ORD TEST UNIT. This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-2 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-05 to GS-11. Responsibilities You will perform a variety of clerical, administrative and technical duties/responsibilities in direct support to acquisition positions of management and staff with the intent of accomplishing the administrative requirements of the Command. You will routinely travel off base to local Post Office to retrieve/deliver command mail. You will review all incoming correspondence and directives, performing pre-sort of information and action items. You will participate with Branch Head in the development of command policy in administrative areas by researching prior publications, regulations, and recommending new policies and/or changes. You will perform all work concerned with the receipt, recording, maintenance of receipt files, routing, dispatching, storing, and controlling of all classified correspondence, directives, and messages. You will serve as a Command Certifying Official (CO) and Approving Official (AO) and for all travel, ensuring all authorizations and vouchers submitted are in compliance with Federal, DoD, and local directives. You will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining personnel information within the CitiBank website, activating/deactivating government credit cards used for official travel. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of general experience at or equivalent to GS-04 grade level or NH-01 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing administrative support in the areas of general office duties and travel system services; utilize Microsoft SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; effectively communicate both orally and in writing along with the ability to work closely with others as part of a team. This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination. Education Education may be used to substitute for specialized experience: Successful completion of a full four-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelors degree at an accredited college or university OR A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience must equal one hundred percent. Additional Information This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. A relocation incentive is generally a single payment intended to offset some of the relocation costs experienced by the selectee. A relocation incentive may be authorized.
