Job Title: Back Office Medical Assistant FloaterJob Description
The Floater will perform quality team-based patient care under the direct supervision of a clinician for both clinical and administrative functions to promote health and wellness in a safe and friendly environment. Supports clinician and care management teams in assessing, maintaining chronic disease management, and treating patient population. The medical assistant floater is responsible for performing all laboratory testing procedures and phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks. This floating employee will be working in various offices to support in either the MA role or dedicated lab station.
Hard Skills
Knowledge of laboratory quality control requirements
Knowledge of basic medical terminology
Knowledge of universal precaution procedures in medical safety practices

Ability to communicate and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public
Ability to assess emergencies and act accordingly
Flexibility to float from one location to another as patient queue demands

This is a fully on-site position in Miami Lakes, Florida.
Work Environment
100% onsite: floats between Miami Lakes, Miami Lakes East, Miramar Monday-Friday, 10:00am-7:00pm (AND Every Other Saturday 7:45am-12:00pm)
