Basic Job Functions:

The Mobile Equipment Mechanic is primarily responsible for:The preventative & corrective maintenance of all onsite mobile equipment. (Forklifts, Aerial lifts, skid steers, company vehicles, portable generators, mobile cranes, etc.)Coordination of all aspects of mobile equipment rentals onsite.Short- & long-term management of mobile equipment spare partsThe Mobile Equipment Mechanic will also be expected to assist with preventative & corrective maintenance of Plant Auxiliary systems & equipment from time to time. Minimum Qualifications:

Basic Mechanical aptitude3 years of Mobile equipment maintenance experienceDemonstratable knowledge of Diesel & Gas engines operation & maintenanceSupervisor & Manager recommendation (internal Nucor candidates only)

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior heavy industry related experienceMetal fabrication and welding skillsEquipment Maintenance certifications
