The Lockheed Martin Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to be part of a team producing missile defense technology that could forever change our ability to deter and respond to adversity.

Summary of Key Duties for this position:

• Previous Experience with Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Technology

• Basic Knowledge of Manufacturing Principles and Production Line setup/launch/develop

• Experience creating Manufacturing Work Instructions/ Standard Operating Procedures

• Knowledge of Manufacturing Bill of Materials, creation, edit, and maintenance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Previous Experience with Manufacturing Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering Technology

• Knowledge of Manufacturing Principles and Production Line setup, launch and/or develop

• Experience creating Manufacturing Work Instructions/ Standard Operating Procedures

• Knowledge of Manufacturing Bill of Materials, creation, edit, and maintenance

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance, must be a US citizen

Desired Skills:

• Experience presenting to Senior LM and government leadership

• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Space or industry equivalent processes

• Familiarity with Lockheed Martin Space or industry equivalent tools (ERP/SAP, EPDM, VECAMS, PMP Database, etc)

• Basic tooling, fixture, and equipment design experience

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 9×80 every other Friday off
