Starr RegionalMedical Centeriscurrently seeking talent to fill the position ofLead Maintenance Techfor ourPlant Ops department.Thisjobis permanent,full-time.

Core competencies include, but are not limited to the following:

Installs, tests,maintains, and repairs industrial equipment and systems as scheduled or needed. This includes various water pumps, vacuum pumps, compressors, electricbeldriven and direct drive motors, boilers, HVAC, and pneumaticsystems.
Performsutility and structural repairs as needed, alone or in collaboration with internal/externaltradespersons.
Phonesystemnetworking.
Inspects, tests, andmaintainsrecords for all fire risers, sprinklers, extinguishers, fire doors, and other fire/safety-related equipment andsystems.
Leading co-worksduring projects tocompletion.
Moves items within/between locations and from/to storage.

Electrical Functions
Troubleshoot and install safety circuits on industrial electrical panels as needed.
Installs and repairs electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings.
Installs conduits and pipes to house electrical wires and cables.
Ensures pipingcomplies withelectricalcodes.
Installs circuit brakers and other electrical hardware and connects wiring tothem.
Tests electrical systems to ensure proper installation andoperation.
Inspects electrical systems todeterminewhether repairs areneeded.
Replaces conduit and wiring asneeded.
Replaces circuit breakers as needed.

Plumbing Functions
Valves/water supply, drainage, and plumbing schematics.

Carpentry / ConstructionFunctions:
Framing
Trimming
Flooring
Sheetrock
Sanding
Painting
Building schematics

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.• Must be able to see color to discern color-coded wiring.• Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding.• Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits.
