We are seeking an experienced project manager to be a leading voice in our operations team and a clear point of contact with customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong history in factory automation and machinery making, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This role calls for an individual with the personality to drive projects to completion, initiate quick action when required for success, and the ability to maintain a high-level view of a project at all times. The role involves developing and monitoring project schedules, risk evaluations, collaborating with all operations teams, reporting status to management and customers, as well as tracking costs. Responsibilities include providing technical support for the Solutions Development (SD) team with concept development and quotations as needed, acting as the general project manager and customer liaison for large internal projects and imported lines from Japan, ensuring coordination between internal operation groups to ensure on-time completion of work for assigned projects, occasionally providing direct mechanical design support for projects when needed, and generating ideas for new tools/processes to enhance the division.
