You are:

An SAP migration, upgrade, and conversion subject matter advisor with deep experience helping clients meet the challenges of planning through a complex transformation journey, platform enablement, digitization and particularly moving to S/4HANA from both a sales and delivery perspective. You’re in your element using your supply chain know-how and boss-level creative and analytical powers to solve clients’ most complex business and technical problems so their companies can do more. Communication and people skills? You have both in spades and you’re as comfortable inspiring teams to bring their A-game as you are presenting to the C-suite.

Aligning technology with business strategy and goals, the SAP Smart()field (Upgrade, Migrations, and Conversions) Subject Matter Advisor works directly with the client and account teams, gathering requirements to analyze, design, and/or implement technology best practices to meet their goals of moving towards the future. They are sought out as experts internally and externally for their deep technical, functional, industry, domain knowledge, or service offering expertise. They enhance Accentures marketplace reputation.

The Work:

Represents the Smart()field Team and accountable to the overall Smart()field Pursuit Lead to deliver the solution.

Experience storytelling, providing collateral, quarterbacking pursuits, determining cross-tower SMEs, and bringing ruthless standardization to the solutioning cycle.

Contributes to overall migration plan from technical / architecture end.

Leads high-level and low-level architecture design.

Leads technical/architectural challenges/troubleshooting in projects to find appropriate solutions.

Participates with client and vendors on technical architecture and design topics.

Engages the client to drive migration/conversion meetings/workshops, present migration/conversion plan.

Co-ordinate & collaborate among different towers and work closely with other vendors/partners

Co-ordinate internally with the account leadership, QA Director etc.

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business and client requirements (Standard Accenture language)

Heres what you need:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an advisory capacity with ECC to S/4HANA upgrades – Brownfield Vs Hybrid Vs Greenfield

Minimum of 4 years experience with downtime optimization approaches – Near Zero Downtime (nZDT) or Downtime Optimization Conversion (DOC)

Minimum of 2 years experience or knowledge of Selective Data Transition (SAP DMLT/SDT, SNP – Bluefield, CBS etc.)

Lead or actively participated in 2 or more ECC to S/4HANA upgrade programs

Hands on experience/knowledge of SAP RISE offering

Minimum of 4 years experience in managing sales opportunities, working closely with Client and Account Teams

Experience in SAP functional areas to the extent of having meaningful conversations with clients especially business stakeholders during the sales cycle and/or delivery including helping to plan their overall upgrade/ transformation journey

Bachelors degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6-year work experience.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
