job summary:
For this contractor assignment, as an IT project portfolio analyst lead on the Governance Services team, youll work with a group that supports the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) organization. In this role, youll work with the business and IT to provide portfolio management services in support of a consistent portfolio management framework. In addition, youll work to establish a well-defined structure by which business function and platform governance can make fact-centric, data-driven prioritization, investment, and staffing decisions. Furthermore, youll facilitate the business function and platform governance process and provide transparency to data required for making project portfolio decisions. Moreover, youll take new ideas through the governance process and partner with fellow project portfolio analysts to partner project demand with resource supply for master planning.

responsibilities:
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
– Manage a large portfolio of in flight IT projects.
– Facilitate weekly or monthly governance meetings.
– Work with platform owners/managers as well as peers to understand project initiatives.
– Provide regular or adhoc project reports.
– Identity gaps in project resources and advise on staffing requirements for successful project completion.
– Collaborate and interact with business and IT stakeholders.
Required skills:
– Experience interacting, presenting, and influencing people across multiple layers of management within business and IT organizations with an ability to negotiation skills to bring multiple parties together towards a common goal.
– Experience analyzing large data sets for governance reports.
– Experience using data to help explain resource availability.
– Experience in project management and portfolio management.
– Experience managing a project funnel or portfolio of work
