Job Description
REPORTING TO/DEPARTMENT:
Reports to the Principal Physicist in the Post-Market Engineering & Physics department
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze system logfile data residing in an Azure cloud environment to generate predictive analytics models for forecasting
Assist in leveraging data to provide insight into how customers utilize our systems
Support the Product Development, Product Management, Service and Sales teams in providing inputs based on analytics

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred or Desired:
Familiarity with data science tools
Familiarity with database analysis and visualization tools such as SQL, Matlab/Python and PowerBI
Required:
Familiarity and comfort with quantitative data analysis
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills
Ability to regularly work on-site at the Madison Accuray campus
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Indoor Environment: The position takes place indoors, providing a comfortable and climate-controlled workspace
Sedentary Work: This role involves extended periods of sitting and working at a desk, requiring good ergonomic practices
Computer Usage: Proficiency with computers, including software applications and communication tools, is essential for tasks and collaboration
Minimal Physical Strain: While physical demands are generally low, occasional light lifting and moving of objects might be required
Structured Schedule: This position usually follows regular business hours, promoting a consistent and predictable work routine
