Oho Means Jobs Cuyahoga County is souring a local Production Technician Team Lead for a national IT company.

The Production Technician Team Lead works closely with the Manager, Quality and Test in ensuring Quality and Test operations are carried out on a day-to-day basis as well as training and guiding less senior employees. S/he completes day to day Quality and Testy activities while working in all areas of the lab.

Position Responsibilities:  

– Gives day to day direction to lab employees
– Directs lab employees in Mgr.s. absence
– Assists planning & procurement in part identification, and part/ supplier related issues
– Takes lead role as subject matter expert in areas such as test methods, new hardware/ systems integration and other related areas
– Training and guidance of new and less knowledgeable Q&T employees.
– Remaining current against all OEM test scenario requirements
– Ensures lab is stocked with appropriate supplies at all times.
– Assists in ensuring priority orders are completed within the required timeframe.
– Maintains lab organization and cleanliness.
– Helps establish new test procedures
– May interface directly with Planning & Procurement, Warehouse, Support and other PPT departments as well as PPT Suppliers.
– Responsible for ensuring all Q&T personnel are cross trained in all relevant system operations.
– Directs Q&Ts employees in Managers absence
– Other duties as assigned.

 Basic Qualifications:

– 7 years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a team lead position.
– Experience in the 3rd party hardware service industry, or hardware resale is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 7, Microsoft Server 2003, 2008, 2012, 2016
– Working understanding of a data center environment
– Working knowledge of the Dell, NetApp, EMC, Data Domain, IBM, & HP product lines
– Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance manuals, and procedure manuals.
– Demonstrated ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
– Reliable for maintaining a high level of concentration while handling multiple requests at the same time to ensure accuracy.
– A detail-oriented, team player. A good attendance record and commitment to work.
– Experience with Excel, Microsoft BI and Service Now a plus

Preferred Qualifications:  

– A, Network, Storage, CCNA, MCSA, MCSE Certifications preferred.

– High School Diploma or GED Certificate
