Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

– Install and troubleshoot industrial machine control systems, including three wire and PLC controls.
– Install, repair, and diagnose both AC and DC motors, single and three-phase power systems up to 480 V.
– Install, repair, and diagnose mechanical power transmission drives and related systems (gearboxes, chains, sprockets, belts, and pulleys) as well as pneumatic equipment (compressors, blowers, solenoids, valves, cylinders, flow controls).
– Install and repair general facility plumbing and perform carpentry work as required.
– Support the preventive maintenance system and apply industrial lubricants.
– Properly handle and apply basic hand and power tools, and test equipment.
– Support the plants production equipment and setup.
– Execute breader, mills, scalper, and sifter setup, changeover, and disassembly requirements.
– Responsible for the hookup and unloading of bulk rail materials and the proper hookup of bulk material trucks.
– Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of robotic, conveyor, and bagging systems.
– Responsible for handling waste in compliance with EPA rules.
– Responsible for the daily inspection of forklift equipment.
– Responsible for knowing and following company rules and procedures.
– Must be able to operate a forklift and lift 75 pounds.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 90 Day(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Brookpark, Ohio.

Work Environment

Food environment. Can be hot in summer and cold in winter. Might need to work outside in dock and rail yard. A lot of flour and grain on site.
