Safety Manager

At Manpower, we are committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, clients, and the communities we serve. Our client is seeking a dedicated Safety Manager to lead their safety initiatives and foster a culture of safety across our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory standards.

Working with employees, contractors, Federal and State agencies and plant management to assure a safe work environment.

Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.

Lead safety training programs for employees at all levels to promote awareness and best practices.

Collaborate with management to create a proactive safety culture and ensure continuous improvement.

Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and recommend measures for prevention.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in safety management.

Using computer skills to explain, train and educate all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial hygiene or health and safety

Minimum 5-10 years of experience in safety management or a related role.

Leadership skills

Good oral and written communication skills

Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.

Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Safety Management System (ISO 45001)

Health and Safety labor law/legal requirements

Safety Tools (JSA, field interaction, Take 5, etc)

Knowledge of safety management tools (Cority, Enablon)
