Summary Open to Current ORG Code – JX (includes divisions, branches and sections) You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Special Warfare & Expeditionary Systems Department (JX) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER. The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. This is not a high grade position; therefore, the salary for the NT-05 position may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $134,435). Responsibilities You will be responsible for planning and managing complex technical projects which contribute to the organizations mission, goals, and objectives. You will develop written plans and presentations to interested parties on program/project status, problems, milestones. You will determine manpower, facilities, equipment and funding requirements for assigned projects using the Enterprise Resources Management (ERP) system and other applicable tools. You will manage spend plans in conjunction with Financial Management Control Team personnel. You will interface with division Technical Program Manager(s) to facilitate receipt of tasks and funding for technical projects. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band, NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating technical project resource requirements to develop, plan and execute project schedule, milestones and deliverables to improve efficiency and execution of program operations. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-5 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-13 and GS-14.
