In the military and commercial marketplace for both fixed wing and rotary aircraft, we ensure a broad range of products and product support with a single point of contact on some of the worlds best-known civilian and military aircraft platformsJob Summary The Inspector (CMM) at Triumph Geared Solutions – Macomb is responsible for performing in process and final inspections on machined parts, assemblies, and or sub-assemblies in the Quality Department. The Inspector (CMM) must be able to perform First Article Inspections according to Triumph Geared Solutions quality department work instruction. Standard Night Shift hours are 5:00pm-3:30am, but may be adjusted based on business needResponsibilities Perform in process and final inspection on machined parts, and or sub-assemblies. Complete inspections to engineering requirements. Read and interpret engineering drawings and customer blueprints.Use micrometers and calipers to perform First Article Inspections.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 5 years experience performing inspections in aerospace or military/defense manufacturing. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications. Strong problem solving and analysis skills. Proficient in Microsoft products and excel. Outstanding punctuality and attendance.
