Job Description
We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our team. The candidate will report directly to the Welding Supervisor and Plant Manager, communicating daily for job duties and responsibilities. You will work with 10 other welders in the final assembly department, fabricating parts that have been machined or cut to size. Most of the welding will be horizontal TIG welds, but you will also need to weld in multiple positions. The role involves 95% TIG welding and 5% MIG welding. Outside of welding, you will use hand tools like angle grinders and sanders to finish rough edges on newly stamped or formed stainless steel or aluminum. You may also use a tube bender, drill press, and saw to help create the necessary parts. Reading blueprints is essential, as each job is client-specific for short-run production or single jobs. This position is for the 2nd shift from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM, Monday through Thursday.

The facility is divided into multiple areas for work in process, starting with raw material and creating a finished product all under one roof. Departments include Engineering, Machining, Welding, Metal Finishing, and Shipping/Receiving. We are looking for someone eager to learn the trade and stay with the company long-term. The dress code requires working attire with a welding helmet, welding gloves, and steel toe boots.
