Essential functions (job duties):
Teaching face-to-face and asynchronous courses in Social Work:
1 – 2 positions – Social Welfare in the US (Policy) – SW3710, SW4710, SW7720, SW8770, SW8771, SW8772, SW8773
1 – 2 positions – Social Work Practice – SW3010, SW7040, SW7160
1 – 2 Position – Social work Generalist Macro Practice – (Leadership, Community, and Policy) SW7840, SW7085, SW7095
1 – 2 positions – Social Work Advanced Clinical Practice – SW8305, SW8315, SW8335, SW8345, SW8355
1 – 2 Position – Social work Advanced Macro Practice – (Leadership, Community, and Policy) SW8065, SW8075, SW8085
1-2 Positions in Social Work elective clusters referred to as focal areas:
Integrated Health, Behavioral health and Substance Use
Trauma, Stress and Violence
Social Work in Criminal Legal Settings
Children and Families
Research and Evaluation
Community change, Social Entrepreneurship and Social Justice
Practicum Liaison – Office of Field Education
Unique duties:
Applicants will be expected to adhere to the tasks and responsibilities of providing instruction such as being prepared for class meetings; providing course syllabi to students and to the respective social work program; assigning course readings; providing and grading course assignments; utilizing course management strategies; and using basic technology to enhance course instruction.
Qualifications:
MSW degree plus at least 2 years of professional, post-MSW work experience.
