Job Summary
Performs a variety of cardiac testing including, stress, transesophageal, transthoracic, dobutamine stress echocardiograms and others as indicated (ICE, 3D, strain, specialty and fetal echocardiograms); calculates acquired data and prepares study for medical staff interpretation.
Qualifications
Required Associates Degree from an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent
Preferred Bachelors Degree
skills, knowledge, abilities typically gained through schooling training and experience related to echo including in two-dimensional, doppler, color doppler, transesophageal echocardiology (TEE), transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), stress echo and understanding of complex congenital heart disease and surgical repairs. Required
3 years of relevant experience in two-dimensional, doppler, color doppler, transesophageal echocardiology (TEE), transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE), stress echos and understanding of complex congenital heart disease and surgical repairs. Preferred
CRT-Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer, Registered (RDCS) – ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Upon Hire required Or
CRT-Cardiac Sonographer, Registered (RCS) – UNKNOWN Unknown Upon Hire required Or
CRT-Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) – ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography HDVCH Upon Hire required
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) – ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
