Job Title: Architect
Job Description
The Architect will be responsible for creating building designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. This role requires a combination of creativity, technical skill, and project management to ensure successful project delivery. They will be working on sites across several states including Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Wisconsin, and Illinois.
– Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements
– Develop conceptual design ideas and create detailed drawings and specifications
– Work closely with the construction team to ensure designs are executed accurately and efficiently
– Oversee the construction process to ensure compliance with design documents and safety codes
– Modify designs throughout the project to address any challenges or changes
– Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues on the ground
– Prepare project documentation, including construction documents, drawings, and reports
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends, building codes, and regulations
Must Have Qualifications
Bachelors degree within Architecture
5 years of working experience within designing commercial buildings
Proficient in AutoCAD or Revit
Experience with Bid Permits, engineering changes, client communication and working with other disciplines (mechanical, electrical, structural)
Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Work Environment
They have a very fun, lively environment. The office is built using shipping containers and features multiple iterations of office spaces. The space includes a shuffleboard table, arcade games, and a golf simulator.
