Job Summary
The Patient Services Representative is responsible for greeting patients, both on the phone and in person.
This person gathers demographic and insurance information and schedules the patients to see the physicians.
Collect insurance co-pays and deductibles, payments on accounts, physician count, record immunizations in charts, attend to drug reps, help departments in the clinic, hand out prescriptions, letters, and meds left for patients at the patient service representative desk.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every three years thereafter.
Work Schedule
Monday – Friday; 80 hours every 2 weeks
Day shift
No weekends or holidays
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$17.50 – $22.00
