Job Description:

Were seeking a Maintenance Electrician who can interpret blueprints and schematics, identify the proper parts, and adeptly use electrical instruments such as multi-meters and amp meters. Youll be expected to carry out basic soldering, control and power wiring, and wire and test small stand-alone machines. Other responsibilities include bending and installing EMT/rigid conduit, organizing prints and layouts, and layout box location. Youll also be drilling, tapping frames, welding box bars in their proper location, and making up subpanels with terminal strips and placing them in boxes. An important part of the role is the ability to troubleshoot and see through to resolution and perform machine and facility repairs and installations.

Qualifications :

• Electrical instruments usage (multimeters, amp meters)

• Blueprints and schematics interpretation

• Soldering

• Control and power wiring

• Machine and facility repairs and installations

• Welding skills

• Understanding of machine processes, logic, and ladder diagrams

Work Site:

This is a fully on-site position in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The facility is non-climate controlled and operates Monday-Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with overtime hours available. Optional Saturday shifts are also available. The company manufactures machines that produce duct work for clients globally.
