Summary This position is located within the Directorate of Family, Morale, Welfare and Recreation (DFMWR) Support Services Division at Fort McCoy, WI. Responsibilities Assist in analyzing mission, organization, work processes, methods, and procedures to identify best practices and recommend improvements. Develop and maintain appropriate spreadsheets and/or databases for management information. Analyze statistical data to determine validity of information, identify problems and trends and resolve issues analyzed and provide complete end product for presentation. Perform comparative analyses of activities to each other, budget, and/or industry best practices then develop official reports and presentations. Monitor budget execution and validates ongoing requirements. Provide training to management and operations staff and represent the organization in meetings and/or conferences. Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Qualifications must be clearly verifiable in your resume. One-year specialized experience directly related to the duties described above. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be substituted for specialized experience that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. Knowledge of principles, concepts, and methodologies required to perform various analytical techniques. Ability to analyze operations and financial data and to prepare reports and replies to inquiries. Knowledge of basic business financial and operating reports. Strong written and oral communication skills, including comprehensive knowledge of and demonstrated ability with standard office software programs such as databases, spreadsheets, word processors, graphics, etc. Highly Preferred Criteria: (All answers to the Highly Preferred criteria must be visible in your resume to get credit). One year experience with Non-Appropriated Funds (NAF) policy, regulations, and/or finance. Work experience and knowledge of principles, methods and techniques of financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling to interpret quantitative and qualitative data to include data modeling, value management, and evaluating key financial indicators, trends, and historical data. Experience in utilizing statistical data to evaluate a process and make recommendations for organization programs; consolidating data to present final briefing and analyze new concepts/techniques to determine organization compliance. Possess a degree in business administration, financial management or related field. Possess experience utilizing Power BI, Azure, Tableau or similar data analytic related software.
