the performance of general maintenance and repair of facility equipment
and systems. Works to maintain acceptable conditions throughout plant
for printed circuit board fabrication. Receives technical guidance from
higher-level technician. Duties and Responsibilities: Assists HVAC
technicians with reactive maintenance on facility equipment while
learning to utilize electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic,
mechanical skills and troubleshooting techniques. Performs preventive
maintenance procedures on facility equipment after being trained. Helps
maintain maintenance records and information on facility equipment.
Assists with methods of cost-effective installation, monitoring and
modification of facility equipment. Assists with problem troubleshooting
in equipment, process, or materials. Interfaces and communicates with
internal and external customers as needed to resolve equipment issues.
Suggests equipment improvement opportunities and modification of
equipment to improve operation. Helps maintain inventory of spare parts
and supplies. Performs daily housekeeping duties and other duties as
assigned. Essential Knowledge and Skills: This position requires a
background in refrigeration, electrical/electronics, mechanics,
hydraulics and pneumatics. Must be able to establish priorities;
managing personal work assignment backlog. Troubleshoot and maintain
basic electro-mechanical equipment. Tech will work performing reactive
and preventive maintenance on a wide variety of facility equipment.
Team-oriented and good interpersonal skills Able to communicate well
with others, from Engineers to Associates. Education and Experience:
Associate Degree in HVAC Technology or equivalent experience is
preferred. Working knowledge of refrigeration, mechanical and electrical
drawings is necessary. Experience using Microsoft Windows software
