Utility Extrusion Technician, 2nd Shift

Summary: Our Utility Extrusion Technician is a machine operator and is
responsible for the set-up tear down and operation of the co-extrusion
equipment including the par cool tower and liquid smoke application. Our
Extrusion Technician must ensure that compliance of the company
specifications and regulatory standard. Our Extrusion Technician will
perform corrective actions arising from quality or food safety
deviations. Our Utility Extrusion Technician would be working onsite at
our New London Plant, in New London, WI. Although this is a Utility
role, youd be working primarily 2nd Shift Monday- Friday,
3:45PM-11:30PM (1545-2345), with the flexibility to work overtime,
weekends as needed, & cover any other shifts as needed. This role pays
$30.06 an hour, not negotiable with time and a half after 8 hours, as
well as time and a half for 6th day work, with 7th day work being double

Identify problems and initiate corrective action arising from quality
and food safety deviations. Identify and support process improvements.
Perform assigned preventative maintenance on equipment. Ability to
identify and resolve problems in a timely manner. Ability to gather
and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions.
Must meet commitments with demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
Able to read and interpret written information. Comply with all
safety food safety GMP and SQF Requirements. Must have the ability to
obtain forklift certification. Ability to use chemicals for cleaning
and complete sanitation processes. Ability to use computer programs
for inventory purposes filing of documents and gathering process
information. Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor.
Perform general housekeeping duties in the department. Must perform
all positions of rotation if applicable. Must perform all positions
of rotation if applicable. Must be capable to work any shift as
needed. Requirements: Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma or
GED equivalent required. Experience: Prior machine operator
experience in a food manufacturing facility. Resume attached with
application is highly preferred. Ability to read comprehend and write
English. Ability to perform basic math functions. Must be able to
work overtime and or weekends as needed. Must be able to work in a
fast-paced environment with rapid hand and eye coordination to move
product on a conveyor and or other processing equipment. Ability to
strenuous flex grip with wrist hands frequently. Must be able to push
pull lift with arms up to 50lbs occasionally. Must be able below
waist at shoulder above shoulder level 20 pounds frequently. Must be
able to lift lower carry up to 20 pounds or greater with back and legs.
Must be able to constantly stand stoop walk bend up to 10 hrs.
Occasional climbing of stairs several times per hour is required.
Ability to work in wet and cold temperatures at 35 degrees is required.
Able to complete all paperwork and SAP functions as required for
position. Must reside in the US, this role does not offer
