Senior Software Engineer – Multiple Positions

Bosch Automotive Service Solutions, LLC seeks Senior Software Engineer (Multiple Positions) in Owatonna, Minnesota. Design and develop new products and maintenance of existing products, ensuring all business objectives are met. Assist cross functional teams in prototyping, designing, analysis, and testing. Assist in defect reduction and productivity improvement plans. Collect and track software defects ensuring that they are corrected in an efficient manner. Document software requirements, design methodology, and validation results. Participate in efficient and effective code reviews. Maintain revision control of the product software. Represent the team in a positive and professional way. Support production through problem solving and bringing added value by lateral thinking. Drive continuous improvement within the group. Telecommuting: Telecommuting Allowed 3 days work from home per week. This position requires a Bachelor s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related field and 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer or other occupation involving software development of embedded systems. Additionally, the applicant must have employment experience with: (1) Android Application Development utilizing Java and Android SDK; (2) Android UI Design and Development; (3) Embedded software development and C/C; (4) Linux environment; and (5) Engineering documentation, such as requirements documents, specifications, and design reviews.
