This position is eligible for a $6,000 retention bonus ($2,500 paid after 6 months of service with the remainder paid after 12 months of service) Salary Range This area has been designated as a Minnesota Health Professional Shortage Area (MHPSA). Employees who primarily work in an MHPSA will receive a 15% differential pay in addition to their base salary (which is already included in the salary range above). Clinical Trainee Base Salary: $58,256.71 – 67,455.14 Base salary MHPSA differential: $66,995.22 – $77,573.41 Clinician – Fully Licensed Base Salary: $66,752.48 – $77,292.35 Base salary MHPSA differential: $76,765.35 – $$88,886.20 The expected compensation range for this position represents a good faith estimate for this position and the specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidates relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, experience, and/or FTE. Position Summary This position provides clinical services to those children and families who are at risk in a school setting. These positions have the option for reduced time in the summer. This position requires services to be delivered on-site at home, school or in the community. It emphasizes a high level of skill and knowledge about families, individuals and family assessment, family skills, and education services in the school. The position provides diagnostic assessments and therapy services to eligible students and their families. It also provides consultation/teaming with school psychologists, school social workers, teachers, and multiple mental health providers. This position provides case consultation, training on mental health issues and assistance to school personnel for clients in the Therapeutic Assistance Program, grades 1st through 4th. Location Big Woods Elementary- St Michael, MN Minimum Qualifications Masters degree in social work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or Clinical Counseling Possess or currently pursuing an LICSW, LMFT, LP or LPCC licensure. Extensive knowledge and experience in working with severe emotional disorders in children and adults, family systems theory, individual and family development and community resources and school systems. Preferred Qualifications Con iderable ability to plan and implement treatment strategies for children with SED. Experience with students and families of color, understanding of the impact of race and poverty upon students and families.
