Job Summary:
Responsible for enterprise-class technology environments that Estes requires to run its day-to-day operations. This includes third party applications, COTS, and other environments as applicable. Additional responsibilities include full lifecycle management and support.
Responsible for the execution and timely completion of assigned tasks and serves as the first escalation point for level I and level II Engineers. May provide guidance and training to Engineers
Ability to design, create, maintain and implement machine level instruction in relevant domain
Design technology environments through research, documentation, and maintenance throughout the production lifecycle
Able to design and lead tasks related to installation, configuration, upgrades, maintenance, enhancements, tuning for optimal performance, security procedures, issue troubleshooting and resolution
Design capacity planning, monitoring, and maintenance of designated systems; and train others
Ensure continuity of the business processes supported by one or many technology environments
Ability to design environments to meet development, testing, and production needs
Accountable for issue resolution, tracks progress, communicates, and escalates as appropriate
Design standards and guidelines across technology environments
Design process development, best practices, and identifying new ways to improve resilience, performance levels, and support
Identify opportunities, recommend appropriate actions, implement and follow through. Communicate to key stakeholders as appropriate
Ensure appropriate contingency procedures are in place for technology environments and they are regularly tested
Design process development, best practices, and identify new ways to improve redundancy and performance
Design documentation requirements
Support teams in deploying technology environments and solving problems

Qualifications:
College degree or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background
7 years relevant experience
Professional certification in multiple areas of applicable technology environment(s) required
Advanced understanding of security practices surrounding technology environments
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing SLAs
Demonstrated ability to identify issues, develop solutions, implement and train others
Ability to make requirements actionable
Ability to gather and analyze relevant data for troubleshooting and technology management needs
Ability to work collaboratively with other teams in a dynamic environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to lift approximately 20 lbs., or more if required by the essential functions of the job
Must be able to comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct
Must be able to interact well with others
Must be able to work independently, or in a team setting
Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities
Responds well to questions; Ability to read, interpret and comply with written information and documents such as safety rules, operations / procedure manuals and maintenance instructions with a high comprehension and concentration level to include the ability to meet deadlines
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, random drug and/or alcohol tests, and will be subject to a criminal history background check
Must be authorized to work in the United States
