Job Title: Senior Extrusion Technician

Job Description

The Senior Extrusion Technician develops and manufactures extrusion components in support of both the R&D and Manufacturing organizations. This individual must be able to work independently to set up, run, inspect, and qualify extrusion components in a fast-paced environment.

Deliver extrusion components meeting quality, cost, and delivery targets

Serve as technical consultant on tooling, equipment, material, and process items related to extrusion

Analyze current extrusion operations, recommend improvements in equipment and materials

Follow all written procedures and accurately document information on lot history records using GDP

Support maintenance/calibration of equipment

Develop medical balloons with the engineering group

Qualifications:

5 years of extrusion experience within the Medical Device industry

Experience setting up, running, and troubleshooting a medical device extrusion line is required.

Knowledge of GDP and FDA 21CFR820

Depth of knowledge in material and material grades for extrusions.

Ability to interact with clients and companies in a professional manner.

Customer focus with excellent communication skills, written and oral.
