Completes demographic portion of paperwork and scanning documents. Manages clinician outbox. Works closely with clinicians and nursing staff. Completes and sends out daily huddles. Attends education and training seminars. Orders supplies and stocks department. Monitors all office machines. Updates/stocks on-hand department documents. Assists patients with transportation within the building. Transports specimens to lab. Assists with patient inquiries related to paperwork requests and other forms. Assists with department registry. Completes pre-visit planning. Maintains cleanliness and organization of department. Maintains exam rooms. Facilitates monthly provider of the day calendar. Checks for out-dates on expired supplies and sends them back to central supply. Other responsibilities as assigned.
