Position:

Paws Up Montana is seeking a passionate and talented Full-Time Photographer to capture the essence of our unique property. The role will focus on guest photoshoots, covering private and resort-hosted events, coordinating with our group guests for their photo needs, and creating visual content for social media. This position is ideal for a creative professional with a keen eye for detail who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys storytelling through photography.

Primary Responsibilities:

Family & Guest Photoshoots: Provide professional photography services to guests, capturing memorable moments for families, couples, and individuals in various settings, including outdoor adventures, dining experiences, and special occasions.

Event Coverage: Document private events such as weddings, reunions, corporate retreats, as well as property-hosted events, ensuring high-quality images that showcase the atmosphere and joy of the occasion.

Corporate Group Photography: Organize and execute group photos for both small and large groups, ensuring professional quality and coordination in various outdoor and indoor settings across the property.

Social Media Visual Content: Collaborate with the marketing team to produce visually engaging content for social media platforms. Ensure all visuals align with the resort’s brand and storytelling style.

Image Editing & Post-Production: Perform photo editing, retouching, and resizing to ensure the highest quality and consistency for both print and digital media.

Collaboration: Work closely with the resort’s marketing team, event coordinators, and guest services to ensure seamless communication and execution of photography requests.

Equipment Maintenance: Maintain resort owned photography equipment in good working condition, ensuring readiness for various photo sessions.

Guest Interaction: Provide exceptional customer service to guests during photo sessions, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Looking for team members with:

Proven experience as a professional photographer, preferably as a family photographer, hospitality, or event environment.

Experience with videography for event coverage and social media content. Drone experience is a plus.

Proficiency in photography software such as Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or other editing tools.

Strong portfolio showcasing family portraits, event coverage, and/or social media content creation.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and staff.

Ability to work in various outdoor conditions and settings, adapting to different lighting, weather, and natural environments.

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Ability to manage time efficiently and work on multiple projects simultaneously.

A passion for creativity, storytelling, and creating unforgettable guest experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Photography, Visual Arts, or related field preferred.

Familiarity with the hospitality industry.

Strong understanding of portrait photography.
