Position Overview
The Project Coordinator Intern role will provide an opportunity to gain experience within various areas of the Enterprise Project Management Office, including support of strategic business initiatives and roll-out communication planning involving our dispersed field employees.
This position is based in Rosemont, IL. Temporary housing is not provided for this role.
Key Job Responsibilities
Create project documentation such as timelines, communication plans, risk registers, project charters, and more.
Support EPMO team members in a variety of strategic projects that support our field team members and corporate functions.
Assist in creating automations in the project management tool, SmartSheet.
Compile and organize project metrics into reports.
Support the EPMO team with basic project management tasks, logistical support for training classes, scheduling meetings, updating training materials, and creating process flowcharts.
Required Experience:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelors program at least to the sophomore level at an accredited college or university
Pursuing a degree in Business or a related field
Excellent writing, communication, and relationship management skills
Demonstrated attention to detail and concern for quality
Ability to work with all levels within the organization
Self-starter with proven organizational, analytic, and problem-solving skills
