The Fugitive Emission (FE) team is responsible for performing inspections on various types of facilities in the Oil and Gas Industry to identify and quantify hydrocarbon gas leaks and vents. A normal technician schedule averages 180 total days of work per year (including travel). A DAY IN THE LIFE As a Senior Equipment Technician, you will assist with the management of all assets for the OGI and LDAR division. The Senior Equipment Technicianrole will perform equipment testing per test procedures while maintaining accurate documentation. Proactively seeks to eliminate any field complaint situations through excellent service. Assists with shipping and receiving relating to inventory, sales, haz, and project needs. Responsibilities include but not limited to: Participate and be engaged in the safety culture Assist with the management of all assets for the OGI and LDAR division Responsible for equipment quality and readiness Coordinate with logistics to ensure projects have appropriate assets available. Database management and recordkeeping of all assets Coordinate international and domestic shipments of equipment between offices and field locations to include hazardous material “Calibration Gases” Conduct annual equipment and package audits Conduct monthly vehicle audits Manage renewals of fire extinguishers Assist the Safety Coordinator in managing PPE supplies Coordinates remedies when equipment is damaged, lost, or stolen and root cause analysis and corrective action Conduct training with employees of equipment and in the care of equipment Troubleshoot equipment and vehicle issues with technicians Drive and implement solutions for all equipment deficiencies and improvements Assist withmanagement of asset financial budgeting and tracking of exp nses Ensure all team members are performingrequired tasks efficiently, accurately, and safely Prioritizes and resolves issues as they arise and notifies management ofpotential problems Perform any other duties assigned by the client or manager(s) ORGANIZATIONAL CORE COMPETENCIES Perform all duties with integrity, safety and a professional mentality Promote a positive and inclusive work/team environment Drive and implement solutions for all program deficiencies and improvements Report all non-conforming work and assist during RCA investigations and Corrective Action Ensure effective communication Demonstrate discretion, confidentiality and good judgement when dealing with sensitivecompany,personnel and client information Foster collaboration and communication EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS College diploma and/or equivalent experience Advanced knowledge in LDAR related hardware and tools Advanced knowledge in applicable Federal, State and Local LDAR regulations YEARS OF EXPERIENCE 3 years of Asset management experience preferred 2 years of experience leading a teamrequired 2 LDAR experience isrequired SYSTEMS Experience with Workday is beneficial Experience with LDAR database and/or asset software programs isrequired Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel)required LICENSURES/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS Valid Drivers License isrequired Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC) is beneficial State/Region applicable Safety Council Training is beneficial Refinery Safety Overview (RSO) training is beneficial First Aid and CPR Certified is beneficial SAFETY/DRUG SCREENING Capability to pass background checks and initial and random drug screening Must be able to successfully pass a urine, alcohol, and hair drug test Ability to climb stairs, ladders and work from heights Ability to pass an OSHA Respiratory Protection Medical Evaluation, and don respiratoryequipment TRAVEL Ability/willingness to travel locally and overnight 25% of the time SOFT SKILLS Excellent organizational, communication, time management and leadership skills, including a demonstrated ability to lead multi-discipline teams and motivate others Ability to interface with cross-functional teams and all levels of personnel/management Strong problem solving and analytical skills Able to work independently, managing multiple responsibilities (i.e., self-starter, self-motivated) Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to think and act strategically and proactively Resourcefulness, flexibility, and resiliency to operate in a dynamic work environment Conduct and support client (internal and external) engagement activities to strengthen our relationships with our clients and increase our understanding of their needs Leads solutions using collaboration, technology and/or innovative strategies for both clients and internally – always seeking continuous improvement Ability and motivation to learn, execute and train on advanced technologies, project or skills SCHEDULE/ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS The schedule and essential physical functions described here are representative of those that must bemet by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
