Electromechanical Assembler

Our client, a large aviation manufacturer, is currently hiring for a Avionics Assembler to join their team located in Smithfield, PA.

Job Responsibilities:

-Perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, and aircraft systems equipment and accessories using manual operations.

-Supports continuous improvement of products and processes by participating in the design, fabrication, and testing of new concepts and technology.

Pay:

$23-$30/hour, depending on experience

Qualifications:

Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification change design)

1 years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics

1 years of experience working with precision measuring tools

1 years of experience with fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems utilizing production industry standards

1 years of experience with machine shop processes

Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities, and data needed for defining delivery configurations (e.g., design definition, program directives, and engineering drawings, change memos, wiring diagrams, and schematics, functional tests, supplier data)

Differentiation of production manufacturing processes and requirements from in-service procedures and requirements

Evaluation and qualification of materials, suppliers, equipment, technology, and processes to ensure conformance and production requirements are met

Complete knowledge of shop processes to include Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD) prevention, material handling, safety, calibration requirements, and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD)
