Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Onsite position offering stability and growth opportunities.
What’s a typical day as a Seamer Mechanic? You’ll:
– Own PM systems for the seamers, focusing on the execution of the Maintenance Planning and Scheduling and leading the Breakdown Elimination Daily Management Systems (DMS’s).
– Support and lead seamer related CPS activities including:
– Implementation of 5S principles
– Implementation of seamer centerlines via weekly set-up sheet PM
– Continued execution of daily seamer CIL
– Seamer and line specific AMD activities
– Support development and lead portions of seamer 90-Day loss-elimination plans
– Drive breakthrough results in Planned and Unplanned Downtime, and own:
– Maintenance and Repair (M&R) costs for seamers
– Percent Planned Maintenance and Percent PM’s complete
– Breakdown reduction
– Coach and develop seamer mechanics and shift teams by serving as seamer technical coach and resource
– Actively participate in Seamer Daily Directional Setting (DDS) meetings and execution of the daily plan
– Interface with seamer mechanics, operators, quality resources, line teams, plant leadership, corporate partners, suppliers (equipment, tooling, packaging), and external technical resources as required to deliver SEAMING excellence.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you have the:
Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams, written orders, control gauges, manufacturers operating instructions books, and to record boiler plant information
Ability to understand and follow complex oral or written instructions on proper plant operation.
Ability to operate and regulate boiler plant equipment and make adjustments as required for plant output.
