Job Description
The individual will be responsible for cleaning hospital rooms in the hospital. Mostly discharges (when someone is discharged and the room is sanitized in between patients). There will be a ton of walking involved so candidates must be comfortable being on their feet all day. Duties include wiping down equipment, emptying trash, sweeping floors, and dusting. They will also clean up spills, mop, and swipe down surfaces as needed. Attention to detail is important as there are multiple floors to cover. Employees will use iPhones issued by the hospital to get their assignments and work orders for the day. If the employee forgets how to clean something, tutorials can be accessed via the iPhones. Must have experience working with smartphone technology. The hospital is large, and employees must be able to learn the floor plan within a reasonable amount of time. All candidates must work every other weekend and every other major holiday (Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day, etc.).
