SAIC is seeking a highly capable and experienced ISSO to work in a customer front office environment as part of a multi-person team. The candidate will support the development of artifacts needed for IT system accreditation and will track system accreditation status and renewal dates to proactively keep systems in compliance. The successful candidate will bring knowledge and experience with the customer’s accreditation process, how to work with program teams and engineers to understand the details of their mission systems, and then draft the documents required to obtain accreditation approval. This position requires someone that actively engages with engineering teams to understand their systems, then be hands-on to write documents that will be coordinated with the ISSEs/ISSMs to obtain system accreditation approval.
Qualifications
Minimum of 14 years of relevant experience
Must currently hold a TS/SCI and Poly
Bachelors Degree or experience can be substituted for the degree
Experience baselining current network systems and developing and implementing a plan to ensure systems remain in compliance with customer policies and procedures
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to track numerous systems and their status
Knowledge of system security policies and requirements
Ability to work with system owners to help them maintain compliance of their systems and to advise and develop documents for them to obtain accreditation approval
Exceptional interpersonal skills to work with the customer and other contractors to tactfully achieve mission objectives
Proven ability to maintain configuration management of tracking sheets to ensure accuracy or reporting on status
