About the Position: This Program Analyst position is located in the Office of the G8, Program Analyst & Cost Division at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. Responsibilities Performs research tasks to obtain a variety of cost, schedule, and performance data. Analyzes data to derive relationships involving system parameters, schedule and cost variations. Prepares detailed plans, budgets, and schedules for assigned programs and/or participates with management in fiscal planning. Receives and maintains cognizance of approved funds; responsible for day-to-day management and administration of the organizations budget. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the NH-01/GS-04 grade level in the Federal service which includes: 1) the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) process; (2) compiling data and performing analysis, (3) preparing reports or briefings to communicate analysis and findings; and (4) interacting with customers to understand customer needs/expectations or communicate guidance. OR Successfully completed a full four-year course of study leading to a bachelors degree with a major study in electrical or electronic engineering, mathematics, physics, public utilities, statistics, computer science, telecommunications management, information systems management, business administration, industrial management, or other fields related to the position to be filled. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.); OR The general experience as described in A, but less than three years; and I have some education as described in B, but less than the required four years. I have computed the percentage of the requirements that I meet, and the total is at least 100% (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of qualifying experience by 36.
