Quality Analyst (Document Specialist/Project Coordinator)

Job Description
The Document Specialist/Project Coordinator will be supporting the Strategic Asset Management Group. The main responsibility of this person will be reviewing Facility and Property Condition Assessment (FCA/PCA) reports to ensure data consistency and accuracy. A large portion of this process will include reformatting reports in Microsoft Word, as well as performing an Administrative Quality Control review on grammar, spelling and punctuation. However, this process also includes reviewing, updating, and formatting data in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, as well as cross-referencing that data with the verbiage, data tables and graphs in the Word documents.
QA / QC of FCA and PCA reports
QA review of Enterprise Asset Management System — where asset and capital expenditure data is uploaded
Manage quality assurance of client requirements
Reviewing 30-40 reports per month on average
Shift: Mon-Fri, 8-5PM — Beginning at full-time in the office in Alexandria for training over the first 4-5 weeks, then 2-3 days per week in office
Must be able to pass a govt background check for a clearance

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors degree – ideally in English/Journalism
0-2 years of experience in Word processing, advanced filing and document control, and large-document writing/editing — preferably within construction/facilities space
Strong communication skills, extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and comfort with using a computer
Good organizational and time management skills, with ability to perform under pressure and to adjust to changing priorities
Ability to meet hard deadlines; reliable; good attitude null
