Summary You will serve as a Financial Management Specialist in the Marine Corps System Command of MARCORSYSCOM. Responsibilities You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in support of Marine Corps System Command (MCSC) programs. You will perform managerial accounting roles and responsibilities, audit coordination, and the full range of budget reviews and analysis functions using accounting and financial systems, both internal and external to the Command. You will work with program office financial personnel during the budget year estimates and active year allocation ensuring funds are efficiently and effectively controlled. You will ensure financial transactions are supported with proper documentation and in accordance with policy and internal; control practices. You will conduct studies, gathering and analyzing financial data to improve processes and reporting measures. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 or NH-02 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing accounting roles and responsibilities, audit coordination, and full range budget reviews and analysis functions using various accounting and financial systems.
