Lumos is looking for a full-time Learning and Development Manager! If you are an LandD professional whos excited for a fast-paced experience, ready to help us grow, and ready to recommend process changes that ensure were harnessing our technology to the best of our ability while broadening our scope doing designs, implementing, and managing the organizations learning and development programs.

Essential Functions

Learning Strategy and Program Development:

– Design and implement a comprehensive LandD strategy that supports business objectives and promotes employee growth and development.
– Collaborate with department heads and SMEs to identify training needs and ensure that all learning programs align with organizational goals.
– Develop, roll out, and manage career pathing frameworks, ensuring employees have clear growth opportunities.
– Create and deliver leadership and management development programs to enhance manager capabilities across the organization.

Learning Management System (LMS) Administration:

– Manage the LMS, ensuring all learning content is up to date, relevant, and accessible.
– Oversee the technical setup and troubleshooting of the LMS, coordinating with IT as needed.
– Monitor user engagement and completion rates, providing reports and insights to leadership.

Training Coordination and Delivery:

– Coordinate with internal trainers and SMEs to develop and deliver high-quality learning experiences.
– Ensure a consistent and engaging learner experience by standardizing training materials and delivery methods.
– Oversee logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, resources, and communications.

Program Evaluation and Improvement:

– Monitor the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and data analysis, adjusting programs as needed.
– Continuously evaluate industry trends and best practices to mprove and innovate LandD programs
.

Stakeholder Management:

– Build strong relationships with department leaders and key stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in for learning initiatives.
– Act as the primary point of contact for learning and development inquiries, providing expertise and guidance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

– Leadership without direct authority: Able to lead projects and teams effectively through influence and collaboration.
– Strategic Thinking: Ability to align learning initiatives with business objectives and workforce needs.
– Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for engaging with various stakeholders across the organization.
– Adaptability: Capable of managing multiple projects and adapting to changes quickly.
– Problem-Solving: Analytical skills to assess training needs and effectiveness
– Proficiency in MS Office: particularly, Excel and PowerPoint.

Other Requirements

– Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or a related field.
– Proven experience (3 years) in Learning and Development or a similar role, including experience in career development and leadership training.
– Hands-on experience with LMS management and e-learning platforms.
– Strong project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives across multiple departments.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
– Ability to analyze data and metrics to inform learning strategy and program improvements.
– Knowledge of current trends in adult learning, instructional design, and leadership development.
