Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform mechanical maintenance on conveyor systems, baler machines, and box-making machines. The role requires basic industrial electrical experience, such as replacing 3-phase 480v motors and gear boxes, and replacing sensors, relays, and photo eyes. Additionally, the technician will assist in general building maintenance, including drywall, painting, and plumbing. Responsibilities include maintaining all building and packaging line equipment, minor forklift and conveyor system maintenance within a distribution center, troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical systems, and maintaining control wiring and electrical circuits. The technician will also manage the start-up and shutdown of air compressors and will be trained on scissor and boom lifts.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Ashland, Virginia.

Work Environment

Very modern and climate-controlled building. Organized and clean. Distribution center with mostly conveyor systems to work on. 325k square foot distribution center, catering to both retail locations and e-commerce operations.

Pay : $26.50 – $28/hr.

Shift: Mon – Thu, 6:30a-5:30p
