HVAC Mechanic (supporting NASA, Wallops Flight Facility)

ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking an HVAC Mechanic on site at Wallops Flight Facility in VA.
This role is part of the IAM Union on our Repair, Operations, Maintenance and Engineering (ROME) contract.
National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC) Repair, Operations, Maintenance and Engineering (ROME) contract supports the facilities requirements at the GSFC Greenbelt (GB) site and the Wallops Flight Facility (WFF), as well as possible needs at GSFC remote sites and NASA Headquarters. The scope includes operations and maintenance (O&M), architect‐engineering (A‐E), construction, and information resources (IR) services.
Performs monitoring and operations on the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Control System and related components to maintain system operation and reliability to ensure uninterrupted power and continuous air supply to critical facilities, equipment and systems.
Responds to scheduled, unscheduled and preventive maintenance work orders generated by the computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
Requirements :
High School Graduate – 1 to 2 years Technical/Electronic Training
3-7 years’ experience providing preventive maintenance on the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Control System and related components to maintain system operation and reliability to ensure uninterrupted power and continuous air supply to critical facilities, equipment and systems.
Ability to pass background check for access to work site.
