HR Business Partner

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Serve as a business partner and consultant to internal customers and stakeholders. Develop innovative solutions to a variety of problems moderate in scope and complexity and determine best course of action to support the business strategy. Collaborate with business leaders to build leadership depth and address critical roles/skills needs and offer development resources. Support Labor Relations Manager with union related activities. Provide HR support for projects and key initiatives and meet deadlines. Conduct employee relations investigations. Provide assistance and maintain credibility as a subject matter expert in HR practices, policies and procedures. Facilitate New Hire Orientation. Partner with Company Centers of Excellence to include, Employee Relations, Compensation, Talent Management and Benefits. Support activities related to our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), Total Rewards Programs and DE&I goals. Support activities related to community engagement such as the college and university outreach goals. Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree with 2 years of broad HR Business Partner experience OR a Masters degree in related field. Four additional years of experience can be considered in lieu of degree. Fundamental consulting skills, ability to understand business challenges, provide ideas/solutions and support implementation of solutions. Proficient verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred Qualifications: PHR (SHRM-CP) or SPHR (SHRM-SCP) certification. Experience with Labor Relations. Salary Range: $62,200 – $93,400
