Segment Marketing Advisor – B2B Marketing – Hybrid

The Segment Marketing Advisor supports the execution of various marketing campaigns throughout the client lifecycle from acquisition through retention. This role will be responsible for executing direct marketing campaigns while understanding the broader context of all types of campaigns, including planning, execution and measurement processes to support the b-to-b marketing plan. He or she will demonstrate expertise in appropriate deployment of direct marketing campaign approaches and may be responsible for the high-volume cross-enterprise targeted campaigns, local-market campaigns or account-based programs, in collaboration with centralized and field marketing teams and appropriate Centers of Excellence. This role will demonstrate strong execution and collaboration skills through the collection, creation and distribution of demand creation best practices and work with marketers to apply them within the organization.
Roles/Responsibilities:
Define the execution plan for assigned subset of centrally-executed, local market and account-based campaigns, working with internal marketing stakeholders
Coordinate with key resources as they fulfill on the programs that comprise a direct marketing campaign (reputation, demand creation, sales enablement, market intelligence, test and learn), and the tactics that comprise these programs
Document the responsibilities of various functions during the campaign planning and execution lifecycle.
Serve as a trusted resource to the field marketing managers and matrix partners across Marketing COEs. Solicit feedback for improvement and share programmatic results.
Work with marketing analytics to measure campaign performance and with marketing leaders to course-correct as campaign execution unfolds
Work within established budget for each campaign and communicate status to key stakeholders.
Provide recommendations for improving campaigns.
Partner to determine demand creation program metrics and how to measure against objectives to gauge success
Communicate with and educate stakeholders about demand creation programs
Advocate for testing and optimization, championing data-driven risk taking by demand creation marketers
Ideal candidates will offer:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business, MBA preferred
Marketing program planning, management and execution.
Proven experience working on digital marketing and direct marketing teams and supporting programs to drive revenue
Digital Marketing Tools & Automation (Adobe Suite)
Content Management

Must be a current contractor for The Cigna Group
Ability to work from a Cigna office 50% of the time, as requested by the business
