A Stress Engineer is needed for a global engineering, construction and project management company in the Kennedy Space Center, FL area. The role involves performing pipe stress analysis using AutoPipe in compliance with ASME B31.3, collaborating with engineering teams to ensure flexibility, stability, and cost-effective design of piping systems, while supporting transitions to construction projects.

responsibilities:

Perform pipe stress analysis of systems in accordance with ASME B31.3 Code using AutoPipe.

Deliver quality and cost-effective designs.

Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as required.

Support company Construction during project transitions from Engineering.

The stress work includes the modeling of the piping systems to verify piping flexibility, stability, and qualification of equipment nozzle loads.

Skills: Proficiency in AutoPipe.

Education and Experience:

Level 1: BS degree with 6 years of related experience.

Level 2: BS degree with 9 years of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of ASME B31.3 and other relevant industry piping codes and standards.

Recent hands-on experience with AutoPipe for pipe stress analysis.

PE (Professional Engineer) Registration.

Previous experience with company and/or NASA projects.

Experience with Dynamic Analysis and AutoPipe.
