Fiberglass Cutter/Grinder II

Chris-Craft is looking for an experience Fiberglass Cutter/Grinder to help build the best boats in the industry! Working in our Cutting/Grinding areas, you will be responsible for grinding fiberglass and making required cuts into fiberglass parts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Follow work instructions/drawings for assigned tasks

Learn to run Zund machine and understand functionality

Learn to use overlays to layout and mark parts properly before cutting.

Use proper tools to drill holes in fiberglass parts including air saw, grinders and cutters

Able to read, understand and properly use a tape measure

Cross-train and learn new areas

Work effectively with a team and individually

Read and understand engineering documents and drawings

Understands and uses different marking tools to complete cuts effectively

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred. Technical certification in relevant area helpful.

Experience working with fiberglass helpful

Good working knowledge of pneumatic and basic hand tools

Deadline and detail-oriented, ability to stay on task

Good attention to detail required

Good attendance required

Excellent vision required

Able to wear a respirator

Able to work in environment with hearing protection, respirators and other PPE
