Title: Guest Services Coordinator

Facility : Land O Lakes Health Hub

The Guest Services Coordinator responsibilities include:

Facilitate the accurate pre-registration/registration and efficient customer throughput from check-in to discharge

Supports the HealthHubs welcome experience and overall customer relationship

Assist supervisor with customer access oversight and is proficient, as appropriate in the following guest services roles: reception, waiting room management, registration, scheduling, financial counseling, and insurance verification/authorization

Investigate and resolve patient concerns/complaints

Ensure staffing needs are met; resolves registrar and customer service issues; monitor team communication and team goals and monitor patient access-related metrics

Assist in coaching and counseling, as appropriate

Hospitality-focused and critical to ensuring that each patient, client, patron or visitor is able to enjoy a positive experience and have their personal needs met while taking advantage of the variety of health-related and retail services offered by the facility

Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Specific Skills also includes:

Maintains knowledge of principles, regulation requirements, and applications utilized in the department

Maintains proficiency in all systems used by BayCare services; Applies professional judgment and communication skills in customer interactions

Ability to work in a fast-paced high volume, care-based environment

Adaptable to change and is able to flex as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required Experience:

3 years Related Field

2 years of registration, scheduling and waiting room management for a minimum of two HealthHub service lines.

Education:

HS Graduate or Equivalent GED required

Associates Degree preferred

Location: Land O Lakes, FL

Status: Full Time

Shift Hours: Variable

Weekend Work: Occasional
