Overview

Private Duty LPN – Full-Time (Flexible Schedule)

Location: Maryville, TN 37801Schedule: 30 hours per week, flexible schedule (8-hour shifts)

Overview:We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide total care for a patient in Maryville, TN. This full-time position offers a flexible schedule with 8-hour shifts and involves G-tube and trach care, transfers, and incontinence care. This role provides an opportunity to deliver personalized, one-on-one care in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Total care for a G-tube and trach-dependent patient.

Assistance with transfers and mobility.

Incontinence care and support.

Monitoring and ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Requirements:

Active LPN license.

Non-smoker.

Female staff preferredto support patient comfort and personal care needs.

Experience with G-tube and trach care preferred.

Training Available: Comprehensive training is offered.

Responsibilities

Perform selected nursing procedures within the scope of LPN practice

Provide patient and family teaching according to plan outlined by the RN

Monitor patients vital signs and make specific measurements and observations

Monitor and record intake and output. Report significant changes immediately

Observe, assess and record patients physical and mental condition and reports any changes

Administer medications as instructed and as ordered by the physician and instructed by the RN and document the patients file accordingly

Attend and participate in multi-disciplinary patient case conferences, staff meetings and in-service education programs as assigned

Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN license in good standing

Previous private duty, home health, hospice, hospital or skilled nursing experience preferred

Active CPR certification

Familiarity with electronic health records

Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills

Reliable transportation, valid drivers license and current automobile insurance
